Is here to deal with the practice’s business issues and to help take forward service developments. If you have any comments or suggestions that might improve the service you receive, please ask to discuss these with the Practice Manager

The Office Manager

Supervises the day to day operation of the reception area and ensures the smooth running of the practice.

The Receptionists & Secretaries

Are here to help you arrange appointments and to deal with any inquiries you may have. All information given is kept strictly confidential.

The Practice Nurses

Provide a variety of nursing services and can be consulted by appointment (it is not necessary to be referred by a doctor). The following are some of the services they provide: new patient health checks, diabetic advice, immunisations (routine & travel), blood pressure checks, blood tests, ear syringing, cervical smears, dressings, removal of stitches, dietary advice, and well woman/man advice.

The Nurse Practitioner

Can treat minor illnesses in children and adults and keeps an eye on any long-term illnesses such as asthma, COPD, diabetes, hypertension and heart disease. She can also give lifestyle advice such as diet and smoking cessation.

The Health Visitors

Provide advice on health matters in general, particularly in relation to mothers, babies, pre-school children, and the elderly. They can be contacted by telephoning 01592 713299 and ask for the health visitor.

The District Nurses

Provide nursing care to patients in their own homes if they are unable to come to the surgery. They can be contacted direct by telephoning 01592 713299 after 1.30 p.m.
